Job description
The Brook Hospital KMI is seeking an Addiction Services Therapist to join our team.

Please note the following are mandatory minimum requirements to be considered as a candidate for an Addiction Services Therapist with The Brook Hospital:
• Master's degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Science.
• 3 years post Master's experience or significantly compensating prior experience, inclusive of Family Systems background, group therapy, case coordination activities, and specific treatment relate to adults in acute care settings.

As the Addictions Services Therapist you will:
• Obtain psycho-social assessments.
• Conduct family/group therapy on assigned cases.
• Complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure.
• Coordinate cases.
• Coordinate discharge planning.
• Assist in developing and maintaining community resource information.
• Perform marketing functions as assigned.
• Assist in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security.
• Ensure good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care.
• Participate in continuing education activities.
Education requirements
• Master's degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Science.
Experience requirements
• 3 years post Master's experience or significantly compensating prior experience, inclusive of Family Systems background, group therapy, case coordination activities, and specific treatment relate to adults in acute care settings.
Qualifications
• Must meet State Law regulations for credentialing clinicians. Must be licensed and under supervision.
